faceted browsing on top of ARC

Hi All,
I would like to know if anyone has implemented a kind of
faceted browser using ARC to store facets in order to let
the user to choose the kind of properties that he/she wants
to have as facets. Looking at some known examples like
Exhibit or Longwell they don't let the user choose the
facets since those must be already fixed in a file and so
are not easily changeable. Maybe it could be an ARC plugin ?
